The impressive part is that it's not a picture made by man. It's the actual result of a dying star, some 700 light years away from Earth. That thing exists out there, and it looks exactly like that.

Absolutely beautiful.
Oh, and I thought they coloured it in contrasting colours to better understand the composition. Or is it really that colour?
I'm not entirely sure if they've taken pictures which look like that, or if they did infrared pictures which they recoloured to look like a normal picture.
So I think it looks like that, not sure.
Also, you need to see all the astronomy pictures down at Aker Brygge. Those are some mental pictures.
