More birthday

My dad was in town today, and he took my sister and me to a fancy restaurant close to the Opera. It was so fancy that the waitresses were Norwegian, which actually made me surprised. I'm so used to waitresses being Swedish, because most Norwegians are all posh about it and feel too good to do 'simple' jobs.

I ate boiled cod with potatoes, purely because I wanted to know what it would taste like at a place like that. Some cheating occured though, it was served with a Wazabi cream on top, which was great. The actual cod in itself was nice too of course, as cod goes. You could taste that it was fine meat, and nicely boiled. Not too much, not too little.

And I really enjoy talking to my dad without a lot of other people around. We very often think the same way, and he's really clever, so he can provide a useful ideas and help. We disagree sometimes on how to actually do things, the way I rarely follow his advice on my choices in life. But I don't really feel bad about that, we're different persons and all that.
